It's easy to see why this event holds so much appeal since the athletes are actually flying through the air and performing seemingly impossible feats. Gymnastics legend, Simone Biles, has said she may return to the games in 2024, although she could be in Paris simply as a spectator. Other up-and-coming competitors on the U.S. Senior Women's National Team include Jade Carey, the 2022 Senior National Champion, and Katelyn Jong, the 2021 Junior National Champion. On the men's team, don't miss Brody Malone, who won the all-around U.S. title in 2021.

The U.S. team usually has a swimming team stocked with superstars like Michael Phelps. Lots of action and countless medals make this event one of the most popular in the Summer Olympics. Looking ahead to 2024, the next swimmer to watch is Erika Brown, an Olympic silver and bronze medalist as well as a two-time national champion. On the men's team, check out seven-time Olympic champion Caeleb Dressel. Not only has Dressel won seven Olympic gold medals, he's also a world record holder in a whopping four separate events: the short course of the 100-meter individual medley, the short course of the 50-meter freestyle, and both the short and long course of the 100-meter butterfly.
