Everyone involved in a NBA game can get worked-up. NBA coaches are no exception to this rule, which is why ejected NBA coaches happen from time to time. Of course, some of these incidents have been much more memorable than others.

Gregg Popovich

Gregg Popovich is someone who has been mentioned a lot in basketball news. This is because he set a record for the fastest-ejected NBA coach in 2017. Just 1:03 seconds into the game, Popovich argued a bit too enthusiastically about what he considered to be a missed foul with the result that he was promptly booted from it.

Rasheed Wallace

Rasheed Wallace has what one might call an intense personality. As a player, he holds the record for the most technical fouls in a single season. Wallace's time as a coach hasn't changed him. For proof, look no further than the fact that he holds the record for the most career ejections as a NBA coach as well.

Dwane Casey

Dwane Casey is an excellent example of someone who was ejected for no real fault of his own. In short, a game between his Toronto Raptors and the Oklahoma City Thunder got very heated because of a perceived bias towards the latter. This led to an altercation between a couple of players, which led to the Toronto fans venting their fury when both of them were ejected from the game. Unfortunately, the referees attributed one of the verbal attacks to Casey, thus resulting in him being ejected as well.
