Athletes Who Made Extravagant Purchases You'd Never Expect

What would you do if you suddenly had millions? While most of us would probably upgrade to a larger home and more luxurious ride, these athletes proved they're just a bit extra with these unbelievably extravagant purchases.
Yoenis Cespedes

Purchased: A Grand Champion Pig
Cost: $7,000
Most people wouldn’t be surprised to hear of a pro athlete buying a champion racehorse, dog, or similar animal, but Yoenis Cespedes prefers to invest his money in pigs. The MLB outfielder reportedly spent $7,000 on a grand champion pig, but had to send it to a butcher shortly due to Florida state laws.
Antonio Garay

Purchased: Hello Kitty Smart Car
Cost: $22,700
Antonio Garay, nose tackle for the San Diego Chargers, made headlines in 2011 for his Hello Kitty Smart car. At more than 300 pounds, he's not exactly the driver you'd expect to see behind the wheel of this notoriously tiny vehicle. Garay's lipstick-red version is emblazoned with the cute cartoon cat on the side.
Mike Tyson

Purchased: Three Tigers
Cost: $210,000
One-time heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson owned equally ferocious pets. The fighter owned three tigers, including one big cat named Kenya who lived with him for more than 16 years. Tyson said he shared a bed with the creature, who weighed about 550 pounds.
