Amanda Nunes is the picture of MMA: powerful, precise, focused, and aggressive. Despite appearing to be an average fighter after a rough KO by Cat Zingano at UFC 178, she caught the world by surprise when she dominated her next three fights. Nunes collected several awards, including the UFC gold at UFC 200 and 232, successfully defending her crown and becoming the Featherweight champion. As the first female UFC fighter to win and hold two simultaneous titles, she's even managed to defeat some notable former champions including Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, and Cris Cyborg.

She began her career in Judo, winning the bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and those skills transitioned beautifully into MMA. With absolute dominance and as a pioneer of women in the ring, she collected several Bantamweight titles, holds the record for the most consecutive armbar finishes in UFC history, and in 2014, was the first mixed martial artist to win the Best Female Athlete ESPY award.
